  Great location close to the beaches, shops, bars and restaurants. Staff hard working and friendly. But... not the right hotel if u are looking for peace and quiet, rest and relaxation. Pool area is too small for the size of hotel, we were all lined up like sardines. Had to be up early to avoid the crowds at breakfast and bag a sunbed- not my idea of a holiday! Then a little later, the animation team and hyped up music around the pool ruined any chance of relaxation. Gave up by day 3 and went to the beach instead which although busy, was far more civilised, with better views and only a 5 min walk. Room was spacious and had been superficially refurbished. Shame they hadn't replaced the battered old minibar fridge, which wasn't working when we arrived and had to be replaced... with another battered old fridge! Things like this should be checked before the room is occupied. No kettle in the room. The safe was a chargeable extra. New flooring and fresh colours weren't extended into the bathroom which seemed odd, although it was all clean. Towels had seen better days...lost their fluffiness and very thin. 'Double' beds were 2 singles pushed together with separate duvets and we noticed one of the beds had a broken leg- so basically my partner and I had to sleep apart all week, or risk falling down the gap! Sheets weren't changed until day 5, and pillowcases didn't fit the pillows so didn't feel very hygienic to start with. This really is only a 3 star hotel IMO. Finally, be wary if u book a 'double promo' room this does not guarantee a balcony. The room choices seemed really hit and miss. If u book a balcony room, it could be on the favourable high floors with magnificent views of the sea and harbour... or low floor, no views, directly above the local curry house or overlooking the main road!!

  Hotel is decorated to a high standard and is clean and comfortable. Staff are welcoming and approchable. There is a good selection of food but it's pretty bland.

  Loved this hotel, pool was cold but that's normal in October. Staff were brilliant, drinks and food very nice and the location is great for the beach, shops and bars outside.

  Great holiday, very good hotel, although the appearance is a bit tired. They're refurbishing the hotel at present ready for next season. As of 2018, the hotel will be all inclusive only. We were AI anyway, everything is so cheap in Tenerife, so you don't have to take booze from UK duty-free shops. Local restaurants and bars are cheap, shops sell branded booze cheaper.

  We had a family holiday here in early January 2018 (5 rooms - there was a lot of us!) and we had a great time. All inclusive drinks are very generous...we didn't manage to find one they charged for....and the food got better though the week. 85° all week didn't hurt either
